I have been using Ubuntu for 3 years now. I have started doubting in security.

Because if everyone is able to modify the source code, which then gets compiled in many computers, who can guarantee safety?

Is there some kind of person who goes through tons of source code? At least in software repository?

Ok, I want to use something like Outlook or Mozilla Thunderbird, but I want it to be online only in a web browser. I currently use Firefox. Is there some kind of add on or something I can use?

I used to use Outlook for my emails. (I have two addresses and don’t like to use the current email clients)

I want something similar, but online only.
