Like I have a band page and I’ve seen bands post their music players in bulletins and whatnot like from their page and I want to know how I get the code for it so I can past it in bulletins and whatnot.

Is there a Javascript alternative? Like a self-contained submission form that doesn’t call on PHP?

I’m on my second year of Computer Science. I know Java, C, UNIX system programming, SQL, XML. I’ve figured that C++ is the most used language for game programming.

So where can I start? Should I join one of those game modding teams? Should I take one of those free online courses?

I do software design in college and we have a software programming assessment task for next term.

We have quite a long time to go and therefore have some good relaxing time to program and even learn something new and then program…

What are some good ideas? I mean what kind of program do you think i can make? I want something useful and probably with quite a lot of algorithm works.

I know Python and Visual Basic quite well but we’re allowed to use any programming language…

I work at a computer lab using linux. I want to turn up the sound – and can’t seem to find how to do it (used to Windows at home). Where in the Xfce menu can I configure the basic sound levels of the system? Thanks in advance.

I want a Linux distribution to install to my 8gb flash drive that is light on system resources. (I will be running it on older computers and speed is a must.)

I don’t want something like Puppy Linux because you are always running as root and I’m concerned with security. No DSL either. I have had graphics problems with that one on some of my computers.
