For example. I opened firefox and started adding tabs and browsing. When I close the mozilla (top right x), then I opened it again, the tabs are still there and the website that I just visited when i closed it automatically loads.

I know it can be done because my other computer last time did this.
Help pls.

My firefox used to open a new tab within the window when I wanted to navigate to a new website. A small child got hold of my computer pressed a bunch of keys, and now firefox no longer uses the tabs – when I attempt to go to a new page, it completely navigates away from the current page. Anyone know how to fix this? I know there has to be a way, I just can’t seem to find it.

I just installed several addons in firefox and now whenever I start firefox there are many tabs that say thank-you for installing the add on. Is there anyway I can stop these from loading whenever I start firefox?

Every once and a while, Firefox will hog up the memory to over around 300 MB of RAM (looked through it via Task Manager). It easily resolves by just restarting it, but eventually it just climbs back up overtime. Is there a solution to this? I don’t use a lot of tabs; just maybe 5-6.

so i clicked, "do not show again" when i closed firefox and it acked if it wanted me to save and quit or just quit. This time i wanted to save my tabs. So i save them. Now every time i open fiorefox it goes to the tabs i had open whn i cliosed it last. how do i stop it?

I have the latest version of Firefox. It asks me if I want to save my tabs every time I close it, and I always say yes, but it never saves them. Does anyone know why? Thanks for the help!

Lately I’ve seen it running at peaks of 1GB, even without having any tabs open that would use up so much(no videos, games, etc). Even when I close a few of them, it still runs at a high memory capacity. Is there any way to curb this high memory expenditure, or is this just how Firefox works in general?

Whenever my computer restarts without me closing firefox first, firefox always asks me whether I want to load the previous tabs that were up before the restart. I don’t like that for privacy reasons – what if there’s a storm and the power doesn’t come back on until I’m gone? How do I turn it off.

Internet explorer 7 and 8 has the ‘new tab’ option, so how do you open tabs in firefox?

I’ve been using Firefox 3 and I accidentally quit my session without saving it. I simply clicked on "Quit" instead of "save and quit" accidentally.
But I have to get those tabs back. Is that possible?
I don’t want to configure my firefox to automatically restore previous sessions each time, I just want that previous session back.
