What are the most popular video game programming languages?

Mostly for PC game programming, not console. I know C++ is very popular but what other languages should I learn if I want to go into that field? Also what other stuff could I begin to study so I have a head start before entering college in the video game programming field?

Changed to Mozilla was wondering how to delete temp files ect?

On Internet Explorer you could go under tools and internet options and delete all that stuff,, temp files cookies ,history, ect.Does mozilla do it automatically or how can I do periodically to make computer run faster.Also, is it okay to empty virus vault on A.V.G? How to receive a text from a phone number with php?

I am making an application where you can text anybody from your computer. Or at least attempting too. It is for learning. My application accesses a php script to send the text, this i can do just fine, but if i want someone to text back, how in the world would i do that? I wanted to do some sort of email thing where you have an account on the site and stuff, but how would i receive the text! I really really really need help on this, and asap. Thanks for reading.

How do you make software open source?

I am an amateur programmer and I would like to make alot of my stuff open-source. How do I officially do that? Do I need to go through some legal channels to officially register it as open source, or do I need to simply say in my source code that I wish it to be open source?

How to transfer everything except my OS to a new hard drive?

I currently have a 30gb SCSI drive in my computer and want to get a 160gb SATA drive. I want to transfer all of my files and settings except for the OS, to make the computer run smoother. Is there a way to leave only the OS on this old drive and to move all other things including settings and stuff to the new drive? Is it possible to just see the drive in Windows (xp pro) and drag the old one to the new one?
