What is the advantage of writing a program in a standardized programming language? I think it’s because it makes the program available to more users, or the ability to be recognized my more systems…
I mean like using C++ versus some random language only 20 people use.
Or some not well known bastardized version of C versus C++
Now that you mention it, it is a really vague question, but I need to answer it for my homework for my intro to programming class.

I’m getting good at VB.NET and just started Java.

A friend set up my Firefox proxy so that it was actually using a random proxy from China, instead my own.

I would like to change my Firefox settings so that I am no longer using someone else’s proxy. How can I change it back to my own?
