I want to write macros in excel. I want to know how to start and what programming Language I should learn or is there any seperate arrangement other than exiting leading programming languages? I want to learn it in a simple way without learning any major programming langanuge. Is it possible.

For writing a software program telling a vending machine the proper change from bills or coins a customer inserts.

This is for a basic computer class and I just want to know what programming language is best suited for this and why so. I don’t even know how to write the software or formula for this, so if it’s easy, let me know how it is done.

Edit: this is just a basic homework assignment, so it’s not like I have to actually go out and do this. I just need to know what programming language would be most suitable for something like this.

I’ve been wanting to take programming for quite some time, and I wanted to know if anyone knew any programming languages that are good for beginners. If anyone can tell me any I would be really appreciated. And if there is a program for the programming language where you can program in and save files etc, Can you provide me the link to the program? Thanks.

I would like to be a computer programmer, but I would need to know what are the best programming languages on the market needed that I must learn. I am 15 and have no experience at all with programming, but I’m interested in learning some basic skills. I’ve been thinking about learning some form of C but I don’t know if there is another language that would be easier for a beginner or one that would be better to learn first. Also if you could please include a link to a guide or some source of information on whatever you suggest I learn.

Obviously you have to start with a base language so wouldn’t every programming language just be a dialect of the first? To clarify: How could they have made Perl without using another programming language to program Perl’s functionality?

I got a book"beginning javascript 3rd edition" wrox. This book is thick and do i have to go through this whole book to learn javascript?

Don’t you think it will be taking more time than it should take to learn a programming language.

I want to learn a programming language, so I was wondering what I should learn. I want something that is relatively easy to learn and kind of fun, but will help me later on in life (because I’m only 14). I learned the basics of Python already and some C++.

Ok, so i’m 15 years old. Ive tried programming in the past, and it was very hard for me. It struck my mind that i might have started out with the wrong kind of programming. Should i start with C++ ? Java?

If so , where should i learn it? Any book recommendations? Online free courses?

The type of programming i was hoping to do was something that would make me a bit of money, in case i ever needed it. What kind of programs would i have to code to do this?

I guess I’m kinda saying what programming language is needed more nowadays or what primary programming language do employers want or need.
