today i had first lesson of php programming.i could do that if i know variable.please write whole web program in answer.it is easy for good programmers.and teacher said that it consist two web pages.

I would like to know the answer for both of these. Correct me if I am wrong, but from what I have heard so far programmers are more technical, using programming languages where as designers are more visual, with the models and maps. I am leaning toward programming because I am not that artistic or visually creative, unless that is not needed. I would specifically want to know what degrees are required.

In other words, my computer has been being accessed just through being plugged into AC power or the power grid. Has technology gotten that sophisticated so as to allow programmers to access computers that are not on line via cable or wireless?…just plugged into AC power?

I’m wondering how programmers develop new web programming languages because I want to learn how everything begins from the start. Let’s say I’m planning to write a new language for the Web. How do I do this? Is there anyone who knows about the way web programming languages first appear ? I’m asking these questions because I’m particularly interested in the World Wide Web.

I’m trying to get the hang of using php, and usually when learning a new language I like to look at working examples. I’ve found various php scripts in order to do this, but many do not work in the way their descriptions suggest. So, i wanted to know, is their any way for me to view php code inserted in a web page without the owner/programmers actually giving me access?

I’m looking to design a web application to better run my company with an eye towards allowing others in my industry to use it. I have no programming experience and want to know the most effective way to explain what I want done to programmers.

Hi, I am a first year Computer Science college student in the Philippines. I would just like to ask the opinion of programmers out there if an average or below average student could make it as professional programmer. The last few semesters were a horrible experience for me in which I barely pass two of my programming subjects. Still it was quite an achievement when the failing rate of those subjects was around 50%-60%. However, every time I think about it or look at my programming books we have barely scratch the surface of what we are supposed to learn. So do you really need to be a genius to be a GOOD Programmer or to be précised a programmer that gets paid a decent amount?

I am busy studying for programming and now i have the choice of either choosing C#,C++,VB.NET or java as a programming Language.Which one of these is the best to do and which one will get you a good job,im planning to go to America or Canada after my studies.What are my chances of getting a programmers job there and which language is bery popular in these countries.Thanks

Or is there one? I was led to ask this because of a joke I read:

It has been said that physicists stand on one another’s shoulders. If this is the case, then programmers stand on one another’s toes, and software engineers dig each other’s graves.

…and I didn’t get the joke. So I guess what I’d really like is an explanation of the punchline of this joke, which seems to rely on understanding the difference between programmers and software engineers.
