I’m looking for companies similar to MySQL, SugarCRM, rPath, etc..
that have a business model based on editing an Open Source platform.
(their own platform, i’m not looking for integrators).

I mean a database either is mysql or sql etc which contains a huge list of books (with author, isbn, title information etc) that one can use in website. Any info would be appreciated.

I am a High School Junior, will be a senior is 1 day, and I am wondering which programming languages I should get acquainted with before entering college. I am planning on going into computer science & informatics and going into the security side of things. I have been told that I don’t really need to learn any but I’d still like to be ahead a little going in. I have already taken a class on VB and am currently working on some MySQL & C++. What else should I look into?
