Like using Ubuntu with wubi. Can other linux distros just be installed on C:\ drive too, like a normal program that could be later removed?

I really like linux except for most of the programs i use won’t work on it. Is there a linux version that will run Yahoo messenger 10, Itunes 9, Frostwire and google chrome? I really don’t like pidgin because of the way i use messenger. I have had very little luck with wine.

What are the best configuration for setting up a Linux workstation including Linux distro and hardware?
I’d prefer Fedora as distro but I’m open for suggestion.

I’m looking for a lightweight Linux distro that doesn’t look horrible.

I have a really cool idea for a linux distro that I believe would benefit people that want to use their systems just for the web, so the question is, how do I build it? I have no coding knowledge, except for LibertyBASIC.

I’m a networking student, and I have you deside what Server OS is the best. Although, I am unsure what to look for expectly when it comes to linux. Any pointers?

I need something that is a bit more user friendly, and is best for a computer used at home. At the same time I dont want it to be too limited as far as options since I am actually new to Linux and want to take some time to study the OS.
