i want to learn computer programming but i’m not sure where to start. i know alot of people say start off learning one language then move on to another, but i’m not familiar with them at all. i want to start off learning to program websites or something in that field. should i use visual basic? c or c+?

I guess I consider myself somewhat savvy when it comes to computers but what all should I know before I attempt to teach myself computer programming?

How long does it take to learn computer programming. I plan on self teaching myself through programming tutorials and books online. Any suggestions and how long it will take me to learn programming.
