what software do I need to start programming for the ipod and iphon cell and can I program for the iphone and ipod touch on a pc?

I need a open source converter that can convert my video files to IPOD touch video files (MPEG-4), and can convert more then 1 file at a time I am running windows XP pro 32bit

I sonnect ipod to itunes to put my songs back on it, but it say something about my OS disk is running out of room. Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

I tried using frost wire and iTunes together but had difficulty. I like Frost Wire… any good open source programs I could download to manage my iPod and/or other musical devices with?
