I want to use GNU wget to download webpages, but images in those pages are the bulk of the data download, and I am not interested in downloading the images. Is there any way that I can tell wget to not grab the images? I have read the documentation for wget and can’t seem to figure out how.

I’ve been interested in creating the detail and images that are produced in games, like how the characters look and move. I assume that would go under a designer, but what are the differences and similarities between the two?

Ok, I need to make 2 photos the same size, in PIXLES, not file size. I need them to be the same dimensions. One picture is twice the size of the other picture, but they have about the same shape. I am running OS X 10.5 Leopard. I have Photoshop CS1. How do I do this? I’ve never used photoshop before, so please be as detailed as possible with your explination.

Ok, im 12 years old and looking towards being a programmer.I’m really good with computers and type ok for my age(around 55wpm)but just can’t get programming down.I am an absolute begginer and am trying to learn C++. Is this the right program 4 me?Should I use something else?Do you need any other programs to do C++ or any other programming because i heard you need to download some other stuff for it.Is programming just writing things in notepad and converting them into exe files and images, or is there more to it?I was thinking of buying C++ for dummies(the book),but when i saw a preview it was just waay too confusing.I started some tutorials which lost me at the first sentence,plus i had one which told be type in some stuff in so i did in notepad and nothing happened.Somebody please help me i really want to pursue my dream and i want to start working on it now. Btw, if you have any information on programming tell me and don’t give me websites, and if you do then explain them to me GOOD

I created a script that reduces the size of an image and another to watermark images with PHP. The code runs fine on my testing server, but when I upload it to my web host (UK2) they have a 8MB memory limit. I’m not really sure if I will have to work around this and cut it out of my CMS or whether there is anything that can be done to help?

I’m using firefox and want to stop particular images from being loaded when the website is opening.I don’t want to "adblock" the images using adblock plus extension,just want to stop some of the images which I don’t need at that particular time as I’m on a dial-up conn.,so these images get a lot of time to load.Any particular extension of firefox can help?
