How do you boot up a computer directly to a game emulator without the os loading up and without a disc boot?

Author: I was thinking that there may be a linux os that does this, but I can’t seem to find any. I want to have my old computer play game emulators like NES and SNES, Sega, and Game Boy, without having an entire os boot up. I want it to boot up like an arcade game that has all different games on it. If you could give me a link or point in the right direction, then I would be very grateful. Thanks!
