I just downloaded the latest Firefox update – exe file 5.5 MB and as I had the wrong settings it has ended up in My document instead of Program files. Can I move it?
It has already installed – I just want to move the file to the Program files!

How can I be sure the download is virus/spyware-free?

The Firefox download manager remembers the last download location. I would like there to be a default for each web site. For example bank statements will download into a bank statement folder, programs will download into a program folder, etc. I hate having to go through a series of nested folders to get to the folder I need.

I’m VERY new to Linux and just had it installed.

Every time i download a program, I either save it or open with the default that they give me.
Problem is, when the download’s done, I have no idea how to find it to run it.

If it helps for specifics, I downloaded mpg123 but couldn’t find it afterwards. I went to forums to try and type stuff in the terminal, but that doesn’t seem to work. Help!

I am trying to learn the basics of programming but first I want to know what program to start with.
I have heard of Python, C# and Javascript but I am not sure if any of these cost anything or if they are for beginners or experts. So please, can anyone tell me what is a good (free if possible) program to learn the basics of programming. I am not looking towards a career, rather something interesting to learn. Links to the sites to download the program would be appreciated.

My grandson is clearing out all the garbage in my computer and his friend said I need to retrieve the Windows 2007 code before everything
gets erased. Dell loaded it on here when I got it. They provided no disk or anything and wanted 0 to get help me. My grandson said he will download the program off the Internet, but I have to have the code to activate it. Any one know how?
