How do I pause a download in Firefox without losing the file?

Hey everyone. I have a Windows Vista x64 and I was wondering… How do I pause a download in Firefox without losing it? I really want to pause the download so I don’t lag to death, but when I pause a file it keeps saying "File not found" or something like "File lost"

Is there a way to fix this?

How easy is it for someone to download a php file from a website?

My php page has all the important database information, so I don’t want people looking at it. How easy is it for someone to view this information? Also I’v set the PHP file, so that you can’t access it directly using the URL, you can only see it when it is linked to by a form using the POST method.

How can i download a file by opening multiple connections to the server using PHP?

How do you download a .php file from its location using the browser address bar?

Usually when you type the end of the Extension to the file (.exe .zip .doc etc) it will automatically ask to be downloaded and if you should save or open.

But this does not seem to work with a php file I want to download from a server, which I found the location for. It just opens the page as blank. And no source code is in it.

So is there a way of downloading a php from directly from the browser?

Thanks!
