I have never been techno phobe all my life. If anything I love using new gadgets and technology but I plan to get into some really hardcore programming in the future and its freaking me out. I checked the source on a webpage and so freaked out . Any tips will help

i want to learn computer programming but i’m not sure where to start. i know alot of people say start off learning one language then move on to another, but i’m not familiar with them at all. i want to start off learning to program websites or something in that field. should i use visual basic? c or c+?

Can one have a good future by programming websites and other programming?

Is there a future, like when I’m 40, will i still have aplace to work?

I guess I consider myself somewhat savvy when it comes to computers but what all should I know before I attempt to teach myself computer programming?

From what I know, there is a game programming career that one of my friends is currently pursuing. He enjoys games and computers, by the way. I acknowledge the fact that there are other computer programming careers out there other than game programming, but I don’t know what they are. I was thinking in getting a game programming career too, but I’m wondering if there’s other options. So, what kinds of computer programming careers are there?

A friend of mine has spiked my interest in computer programming, but he didn’t really fill me in on the basics. Which language do you think is the best to use for programming for a beginner?
