I have some background in programming but i have not been able to find a good program to use when trying to make computer games. I would preferably like a program that i could easily download tutorials for it incase i need future help. Thanx!

i have recently been given an asus net book that runs on a linux system, i can’t seem to figure out how i can change my background. Is it even possible to set backgrounds on a linux operated system? could somebody please help me, it would be muchly appreciated thanks in advance!

Suppose when viewing a web-page there are several links that, based on the tab-settings I’ve chosen in firefox, will open in new tabs. Is there any way to prevent Firefox from switching to the most-recently opened tab? In other words, can I click a link and have it open in the background?

i lost the code and i wanna put a really trippy picture as my background.

Im taking a course in automata theory but have a very limited background in programming. I’ve done a little bit of html and C++. Will I be okay to learn automata theory?

Hello All. I need your guidance to tell me which book to start with for programming. I have absolutely no background about programming and would like very much to know how to do it. I’m using the linux, is there any special program or book should I read/ use? I searched on the internet but each book i download requires a background in C++…

Myspace changed their coding again and I don’t have the code to do it. I need the background to be black.

I rarely ever use those sites. I usually depend on Crash Codes.

I’m good with HTML so I make all my own layouts.

I found a myspace layout that i really want but its a default layout it only show a little bit of the pictures in the background. I want to keep the layout but i want it to be a skinny layout. A skinny layout shows most of the layout. Does anyone have a code or an idea that i can get to change it.

I am currently looking for open source software projects but I don’t know where to start.
I am open to learning any new languages for the projects. I’m pretty much looking to gain experience in programming.
I have a background in C, PHP, SQL, HTML/XHTML, and CSS.
