How do I save my Firefox bookmarks when getting a new computer?
I’m getting a new computer but don’t want to lose my Firefox bookmarks. Is there an easy way to save a record of all the URLs in my Bookmarks and then quickly upload them to Firefox on my new computer?
Bookmarks… -> Organize Bookmarks opens a new window, click on Import and Backup to create a backup of them, copy that backup to a flash drive, then on the new PC do the same thing but Import from your flash drive.
store them online at del.ic.ious then just signon from your new pc and sync them
Make a directory and call c:/Firefox bookmarks.
Open firefox. – click on bookmarks – organize bookmarks –
Bookmarks orginzer window. – file – export – copy bookmarks now to the directory you made ( c:/Firefox bookmarks
Now you burn them or you can copy them to a flash drive.
With the flash drive you can then copy them to your new computer
To get them in firefox, do the same procedure only you do not export hem but import them back to Firefox Bookmarks. Now all you bookmarks are back in Firefox.
