How can i uninstall linux from my pc and switch to windows?
After modifying my BIOS I installed ‘red hat- enterprise linux 5′. I had to enable the hard disk drive mode into RAID from IDE before installing. Now when i attempted to install windows, i turned the hard disk mode into IDE from RAID. But when i entered the windows installation cd, there is no installation page displayed. Please help!!!
What DO you see on your screen when you use the windows cd?
Is your bios set to boot from cd?
If all else fails google for dos boot disk and one of those would let you reformat and partition you hard drive. THen try the windows cd again.
Good luck
I’m guessing that your boot order was changed or you disabled the CD-ROM controller. The most likely easist way to fix this is to look in your bios for a ‘reset to default’ or a ‘safe mode ‘ bios setting. If you don’t have those, then you need to make sure that the controlers are enabled and the boot order is set to boot from the CD before the hard drives.
