Hey anyone knows about a good statistics software out there, open source id appreciate?

Umm i dont want something too complicated, i would sure like something that could help me analyze how students are standing using their grades and other factors. An open source program would be best, im trying to stick to the unix environment now.

This website gives you 15 free statistics packages and a table listing what analysis each one can do. You can also backtrack to a page that lists about 30 or so free specialized packages

So you need like a spread sheet?

Openoffice calc or GNUmeric will do that.

If that’s not right, poke around sourceforge.net, I’m sure you’ll see what you want.

    Try UNESCO World Heritage Centre

They promote access to information (for all) and open source software.
