Could a few people please contribute to my brainstorming session ??… Topic = Linux vs Windows?

I have to prepare a powerpoint presentation on this and need some ideas… Brainstorming alone is not easy, would be great if i could get some words related to either of these subjects, so i can elaborate… so far i’ve got …

Bill Gates
Microsoft
Ubuntu
Linus Torvalds
Linux Kernel
x86
DOS
GNU Project
Open Source

Anything you can think of related to either Linux or Windows … Thanks :)

    console , Console , root , debain , packages , package manager , .exe , winapi , unix\linux api , winE (windows emulator for linux) , open office , firefox

    more detail i know u asked for key words but u know
    Bill Gates = very rich , marketing Genius
    Microsoft =
    direct x total control over both graphics and audio

    ubuntu = user friendly introduction linux platform with good package mangers, comes complete with every thing a pc would need FREE

    linux kernel = the power behind it all a series of class’s writen in C that power every thing main go between for software and hardware to meet

    x86 = 32 bit

    dos = Disk Operating System and up until NT (new TECHNOLOGY) windows release where based on dos now they have a dos shell (command prompt)

    gnu = not unix

    open source self explatary

    my opion windows vs linux

    linux wins hands down few years ago it was hard to decide but now i cant think of a single program i cant get to work on linux i can download setup.exe straight of the internet in ubuntu and install normaly even games wow works fine direct x games somtimes a bit slow but using wine and various other tools they work. only thing does have a problem with is the .net framework there the mono project but that aint .net more a enviroment for .net developers to have a go in linux but i couldnt get my head round it at all which is a shame since i like it as a platform on windows but owell cant have every thing

    windows seem to never get a release rite every one always has to wait 8 months – a year before you get a stable version look at xp when it first come out didnt work well until service pack and the secound it gets working they release vista and that still has flaws till this date altho the service packs helped alot and now windows 7 (got the beta aint burnt it or installed yet) but i bet that be flawed even the prober retail 1 will be when they release it

    now linux ubuntu man
    never hangs never has a proberlem handling application. along with apache you got a free server there , drivers are a bit of a night mare but genric for every thing apart from graphics card seems to do the trick

    linux is free and the things that aint free come with support where as ms support cost extra

    sorry i dont understand why so many places still use windows since migration from windows to linux in a gui enviroment is nothing 10 mins instead of clicking on start u click this button in kde and this in gnome etc

    ok developings a bit diffrent same with installing things but package mangers are great now

    Both Windows and Linux come in many flavors. All the flavors of Windows come from Microsoft, the various distributions of Linux come from different companies (i.e. Linspire, Red Hat, SuSE, Ubuntu, Xandros, Knoppix, Slackware, Lycoris, etc. ).
    For desktop or home use, Linux is very cheap or free, Windows is expensive. For server use, Linux is very cheap compared to Windows. Microsoft allows a single copy of Windows to be used on only one computer. Starting with Windows XP, they use software to enforce this rule (Windows Product Activation at first, later Genuine Windows). In contrast, once you have purchased Linux, you can run it on any number of computers for no additional charge.

    now the question is "Can a frustrated Windows user dump Microsoft?"

    Even with lots of improvements, Linux is still no cakewalk.
